The Mofidi CGK40 booster compressor is the largest, highest-capacity model in the Mofidi booster series, built for production lines that need large volumes of high-pressure air and continuous duty. It takes compressed air from your main compressor at 7–13 bar and raises it to as much as 40 bar (580 psi), driven by a 30 kW (40 HP) motor.

What Is an Air Booster and How Does the CGK40 Work?
A booster (pressure amplifier) does not draw air from the atmosphere. Instead, it re-compresses air that has already been compressed by a rotary screw or piston compressor. Installed next to your existing compressed air system, the CGK40 takes air at 7–13 bar and delivers 15–40 bar, so part of your production line can be fed with high-pressure air without replacing the whole system. The higher the inlet pressure, the higher the output capacity: from 5.67 m³/min at 7 bar inlet to 9.92 m³/min at 13 bar inlet. Read more in High-Pressure vs. Medium-Pressure Compressors.
Applications of the CGK40 Booster Compressor
- PET bottle and container blow molding
- Pressure and leak testing of pipes, valves, fittings and vessels
- Petrochemical plants, refineries and gas pipeline work
- Industrial laboratories and high-pressure pneumatic equipment
Compare Mofidi Booster Models
Besides the CGK40, the range includes CGK20, CGK25, CGK30. The table below compares the four models:
| Model | Motor | Capacity at 7 bar inlet | Capacity at 13 bar inlet |
|---|---|---|---|
| CGK20 | 15 kW / 20 HP | 3.15 m³/min | 5.51 m³/min |
| CGK25 | 18.5 kW / 25 HP | 4.16 m³/min | 7.28 m³/min |
| CGK30 | 22 kW / 30 HP | 4.72 m³/min | 8.27 m³/min |
| CGK40 | 30 kW / 40 HP | 5.67 m³/min | 9.92 m³/min |
Installation and Operation Tips
- Size the main compressor so its pressure and flow match the booster inlet requirements.
- Keep inlet air dry and clean with a suitable air dryer and filters.
- Store the outlet air in a 30–40 bar high-pressure air receiver.
- Replace compressor consumables on schedule to extend service life.
