The Mofidi Desiccant Air Dryer is designed to produce extremely dry compressed air. This system is designed for applications requiring a pressure of up to 40 bar and a pressure dew point of approximately -70°C.
Standard pre-filters and after-filters are used in heatless desiccant dryers to maintain a clean and consistent compressed air flow.
The dryer is equipped with a highly reliable electronic controller to ensure stable and efficient operation.
Heatless desiccant dryers are equipped with specialized valves and high-quality desiccant material to provide effective moisture removal.
The Mofidi Desiccant Air Dryer offers reliable performance while maintaining a low pressure drop.
How Does the Mofidi Desiccant Air Dryer Work?
The Mofidi Desiccant Air Dryer consists of two tower-shaped vessels, allowing continuous moisture adsorption and ensuring a constant supply of dry compressed air.
Moisture is removed from compressed air using a desiccant material. While one vessel is actively adsorbing moisture from the compressed air, the other vessel is undergoing regeneration.
During the regeneration cycle, the desiccant material inside the second vessel is regenerated using extremely dry purge air. The purge flow rate can be adjusted according to the required pressure dew point.
The two vessels continuously alternate between adsorption and regeneration cycles. Before switching operation, the pressure between the two vessels is gradually equalized to ensure smooth and stable operation.
This process helps minimize desiccant abrasion, improves the service life of the drying material, and ensures reliable dryer performance.
At the end of each regeneration cycle, the vessels switch roles, allowing the drying process to continue without interruption.
